1. Sanitizing the Application Site
First, clean the upper arm area where the sensor will be applied. Wash with soap, wipe with an alcohol swab, and dry thoroughly. This preparation enhances sensor adhesion.
2. Assembly and Application of Components
Here is the product box.
The box contains the following two components.
Remove the labels from both components, open the caps and combine them together. Then, press firmly against the upper arm.
When the blue part retracts and the sensor is attached to your upper arm, carefully remove the applicator.
This is how the applied sensor will look.
You can prevent the sensor from falling off by applying the adhesive tape that sometimes comes as a bonus.
3. Reading with Your Smartphone
By installing the dedicated app on an NFC-enabled smartphone, you can monitor your blood glucose (glucose levels) in real-time from the sensor.
Using wireless communication, you can read the values without having to physically touch your smartphone to the sensor.
