    Looking at this graph, we can see that the Regular Beef Bowl alone showed the highest blood sugar peak, while adding just a salad resulted in overall lower blood sugar levels, and adding 200ml of milk alone helped suppress the blood sugar peak.

    Next, to standardize the blood sugar increase rate, here's a graph where the pre-meal blood sugar level is adjusted to 0. This graph shows that blood sugar levels spike rapidly between 30-60 minutes after eating. However, adding salad or milk reduced the maximum value. Particularly when milk was added, the sharp fluctuations in blood sugar were suppressed, and the latter half of the readings remained relatively stable.

    While we often hear that eating vegetables first helps prevent blood sugar spikes after meals, milk might actually be more effective than vegetables.

    Meal Tips and Summary

    From these results, we learned the following:

    ✅Eating beef bowl dishes alone tends to cause rapid blood sugar spikes

    ✅ Veggies First (eating vegetables before the main dish) is effective in preventing rapid blood sugar spikes

    ✅ Milk First is more effective than Veggies First in suppressing post-meal blood sugar increases

    In conclusion, when eating at Matsuya, combining your beef bowl with salad or milk may help stabilize blood sugar levels. Moreover, milk might be more effective than salad.

    Since shelf-stable milk is available for purchase, it's recommended to keep it in your bag and drink it before having lunch at places like Matsuya.
